Sadness in Comedy

Hollywood is laughing a little less due to the recent loss of two iconic comedians- Robin Williams and Joan Rivers.
Robin Williams died at the age of 63 and Joan Rivers at the age of 81.

Numerous tributes have been made to the comedians: reruns of Williams' movies, clips of the funniest moments by Joan on television, and many many written pieces by fans, friends and family of the celebrities.


Williams' death brought up a very important topic- suicide is very real and even the funniest of people could be going through it. Everyone has untold stories and we don't know what everyone in the world is going through. Be a kind soul to everyone you meet, you never know,  it might help save a life.

Joan Rivers naturally caused chaos in Joan fashion when Broadway decided they weren't going to dim the lights for her. Her fans responded in an uproar posting angry tweets and Facebook posts and even creating a petition that had over 50,000 signatures.
Finally Broadway gave in and decided to dim the lights for a minute at 6:45 earlier today.

A fan of the two comedians tweeted " Can you imagine the show Joan Rivers and Robin Williams will be performing tonight in heaven."
